Superficial branch of the radial nerve:
Passes along the front of the radial side of the forearm to the commencement of its lower third. Above the wrist, passes beneath the tendon of the Brachioradialis, and, piercing the deep fascia, divides into two branches: lateral and medial. Provides sensory innervation to much of the back of the hand, including the sensory web of skin between the thumb and index finger

در امتداد سمت رادیال ساعد تا محل یک سوم تحتانی آن پایین می رود. بالای مچ دست، از زیر تاندون براکیورادیالیس عبور می کند و پس از سوراخ کردن فاسیای عمقی، به دو شاخه خارجی و داخلی تقسیم می شود. این عصب حس قسمت اعظم پشت دست را تامین میکند
