Popliteus muscle :

: عضله پوپلیتئوس

Origin: Lateral epicondyle of the femur and the lateral meniscus of the knee joint.

مبدا: اپیکوندیل خارجی فمور و منیسک خارجی مفصل زانو

Insertion: Posterior surface of the tibia proximal to soleus line

انتها: سطح خلفی تیبیا در بالای خط سولئوس

Innervation: Tibial nerve

عصب دهی: عصب تیبیال

Function: Medially rotates tibia on the femur if the femur is fixed (sitting down) or laterally rotates femur on the tibia if tibia is fixed (standing up), unlocks the knee to allow flexion (bending), helps to prevent the forward dislocation of the femur while crouching

عملکرد: هنگام ثابت بودن فمور (نشستن) چرخش به داخل فمور، هنگام ثابت بودن تیبیا (ایستادن) چرخش به خارج فمور، باز کردن قفل زانو جهت انجام خم کردن، کمک به جلوگیری از جابجایی فمور به جلو موقع دولا شدن
